The Solution Architect is generally the most experienced application expert on the project team. The Solution Architect will hold end-to-end functional responsibilities as it relates to the analysis, design, built, test, and deployment of enterprise level solutions including the assessment of viable solution options, providing industry best practices, formulating and presenting solution options to various levels of management, influencing and directing decisions that result in optimal client success, overseeing the production of deliverables, and establishing trusted advisor status with Business and Technology stakeholders. The Solution Architect can communicate effectively to various stakeholders in the forms of architectural diagrams, functional capabilities, business process efficiencies, and business value realization.
Project manage large programs of work including timeline, budget, scope
Ability to manage C- level relationships/expectations
Develop and maintain numerous project deliverables that support the solution design to include discussion documents and other project artifacts
Hands-on application configuration/customization to meet client needs
Establish domain/industry vertical expertise and broad application expertise
Keep other Salesforce team members apprised of the status of the project
Establish Trusted Advisor status with Business and Technology stakeholders
Collect, formulate, and disseminate best practices on solution positioning and delivery.
Provide feedback to Engagement Managers and Executive Sponsors when necessary.
Submit billable time for projects, and attain or exceed personal billable utilization targets
Collaborate with Salesforce - certified service partners, product management, R&D, and extended project team for all engagements
Travel regularly with average of 50% but may be higher as client engagements require
Keen ability to quickly connect business requirements with the functional capabilities of the application
Expert in the assessment of business objectives, formulating solution options, and driving stakeholder support
Solid experience leading application solution design efforts
Extensive experience contributing as a direct resource, and managing others on enterprise software deployments
Deep CRM application experience
Business Process Engineering / Re-engineering background, in the areas of sales, marketing, and/or customer support
Advanced Degree strongly preferred
