The Role

The Birmingham Test Group is responsible for the development testing of next generation products at RIM,  and are looking for someone to help with the development and validation of tests for the  4G/3G/2G multiRAT product.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

The candidate should have a solid background in programming and communications, including a good degree in an appropriate subject or equivalent experience.

• Experienced in Test Case development for UMTS or LTE
• Ideally, experience of R&S CMW 500 and developing using their ML API product
• Excellent knowledge of at least one of UMTS or LTE protocol operation, and experience in using this knowledge to debug test failures.
