This role is to work alongside the commercial partner managers to assist in managing & developing a portfolio of key commercial partners from within the assigned vertical markets. A specialist role that requires a significant degree of business maturity and self motivation in order to relationship manage and drive merchant enablement. The individual is expected to utilise a combination of sales, new business development, relationship management and project management skills to optimise income opportunity from strategic partners

Key Accountabilities
• Commercial assessment of all new prospective partner opportunities
• Delivery & support of Partner Integrations
• Development & refinement of partner operating frameworks
• Merchant application support (credit risk; liaison with internal BDM’s)
• Partner data management
• Frontline partner operational & technical support
• Management of a ll partner facing operational & technical communications
• Revenue share reporting & accounting duties
• Provision of expert WP product knowledge to partners
• Lead partner training sessions globally
• Lead cross functional internal projects to streamline partner operating processes • Development of partner marketing collateral

Skills & Experience
• Proven track record in corporate sales & relationship management
• Proven background in channel sales, demonstrating the ability to manage, control & develop ‘virtual sales teams’
• Experience & understanding of the challenges involved in developing channel strategy across Global territories
• Ability to collaborate with existing internal sales channels in the avoidance of internal / external channel conflict
• A strong ability to ‘facilitate’ and influence both internally & externally
• Highly developed interpersonal skills
• Sound knowledge of all WorldPay product sets
• Sales & Product training
• Project Management
• Data Management & Revenue Management capability & experience
• Strategic Partner Management & Development of 3rd party relationships

Other Significant Role Requirements:
• Self motivated and ability to work in a peripatetic role as may involve Global travel
• Ability to demonstrate high levels of confidence and a ‘can do’ attitude as the role will involve the need to think outside the box in order to assist in developing commercially focussed strategic business partnerships
• A deep understanding of the vertical markets
• Ability to empathise and collaborate with key stakeholders in other departments and divisions of WorldPay is essential


Scope of Role:

• May be required to travel to any one of a number of Global locations
• Responsible for developing and maintaining commercial partners across global territories
• Relationship management of and project management within key strategic partner environments
• Responsible for working alongside the VP Global Partnerships & Commercial Partner Managers to drive implementation of and manage a portfolio of strategic commercial partners & strategic alliances


Technical Knowledge:

• Knowledge of WPG & Streamline platforms is essential
• High degree of knowledge about card processing, acquiring and alternative internet payment technologies
• Banking knowledge and procedural awareness is preferred
• In depth understanding of relationship management skills and ability to leverage that knowledge to achieve overall business objectives
• Standard operating procedures and commission practices within reseller channels
