We're looking to appoint a Product Marketing Manager into a new role to work with marketing colleagues within Future Media and Marketing & Audiences as a whole to develop, implement and monitor an online marketing strategy & plan for BBC iPlayer (TV & Radio) - across 4 screens (mobile, desktop, tablet, IPTV).
You'll lead the development of guidelines, processes and best practice for product marketing and will influence and continuously drive audience engagement with BBC iPlayer (and to wider BBC Online). This new role will focus on on-product messaging, language, copywriting, leading products through their SEO approach and being the point person to ensure products capitalise on campaign uplift (across the campaign and beyond).
With experience of creating marketing strategies for brands or consumer products in a complex, matrix-style, business or broadcast environment, you'll have knowledge of the media technology industry and the output of BBC Online and mobile. You'll have a full understanding of brand strategy, brand lifecycle management, marketing techniques, and knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research techniques as well as a demonstrable passion for, and knowledge of, digital media sufficient to talk with credibility to editorial stakeholders.
