We are currently looking for a talented and passionate individual to join a growing team within the BB10 OS Services organization. Utilizing your knowledge in C/C++ programming, you will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic development environment to develop NFC (Near Field Communications) for the BB10 Platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate's responsibilities will include:

Design and implementation of drivers, services and technologies related to NFC.
Align development activities within your and other teams.
Estimate and schedule development task from your ownership area and delivery according to agreed targets.
Writing documentation and development guides as required.
Creating tools needed to interface with and test NFC related technologies.
Participating in debugging efforts.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's or Master's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Good software development experience with relevant programming languages (C, C++) within relevant development environments (POSIX-based OSes).
Solid knowledge of operating systems architecture including semaphores, task switching, IPC, preemptive scheduling, and memory management.
Proven expertise in embedded and real-time systems development
Independent work ethic to bring tasks to completion
Supporting your team and willingness to help is your natural attitude
Good communication skills including verbal, written and interpersonal.
Fluent in spoken and written English

ADDITIONAL ASSETS

Knowledge in NFC.
Knowledge in Bluetooth
Previous experience with the QNX operating system and tools.
